The second edition of La Jam de Barcelona 2024, will take place from 3 to 5 May.
More than 500 dancers from around the world and various music groups, will gather in Sant Martí, in the Big C hall of Poblenou (Llull street 121).
Full 3 days of festival promoting jazz culture with swing and afro-fusion dance classes, concerts, exhibitions, competitions and round tables.
The new cultural and educational center dedicated to digital entertainment and musical culture in Barcelona will bring artists from both the international swing dance scene and African urban dances.
The event promotes jazz culture, born in the Afro-American community of New York in the 20s and 30s, not only through its musical richness but also through its balls such as lindy hop, solo jazz or tap dance.
It also provides room to exchange knowledge between musicians and dancers, both professionals and amateurs of jazz and swing, thanks to an extensive program full of not-to-be-missed activities.
In the hall you will also find vintage clothing and clothing shops, as well as the presence of the social and solidarity brand of the Barcelona collective, Top Manta.
